Joyce Meyer Devotional 12 March 2019 – Waiting Expectantly
Topic: Waiting Expectantly
Memorise: Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. Matthew 7:7(KJV)
Message: Joyce Meyer Devotional 12 March 2019 – Waiting Expectantly
Have you been praying about a situation in your life and found yourself waiting for a breakthrough? Are you wondering why the answer hasn’t come yet? Do you feel as though victory is passing you by?
Sometimes when we pray long and hard about a situation in our life without receiving any answers, we just learn to live with it. We go on about our business, wondering if or when God will send the answer. But God does hear those prayers, and He’s working out the answers even though we may not know all the details. Our situation can change suddenly, quickly, without warning! Joyce Meyer Devotional 12 March 2019
Until then we can either wait passively or expectantly. A passive person gives up, but the expectant person, on the other hand, is hopeful, believing the answer is just around the corner, due to arrive any minute. His belief is not a passive thing. His heart is full of hope, expecting his problem to be solved at any moment. He wakes up every morning expecting to find his answer. He may wait and wait, but he’ll keep asking until suddenly, God turns everything around.
Prayer Starter: God, I want to wait expectantly, not passively. I’ll keep asking You for my breakthrough, knowing full well that You’ll bring it at the right time.

Faith To Faith 20 June 2019 – A Healthy Dose of Love by Gloria Copeland
Faith To Faith 20 June 2019 – A Healthy Dose of Love written by Gloria Copeland
TODAY’S TOPIC: A HEALTHY DOSE OF LOVE
Key Verse: Love…is not touchy or fretful or resentful; it takes no account of the evil done to it [it pays no attention to a suffered wrong]. – 1 Corinthians 13:4-5, The Amplified Bible
Walking in love is good for your health. Did you know that?
It’s true! Medical science has proven it. Researchers have discovered that hostility produces stress that causes ulcers, tension headaches and a host of other ills.
Now when you think of hostility, you may think of the type of anger you feel when something serious happens. But according to the experts, that kind of thing isn’t what causes the worst problems. It’s the little things: when the dry cleaners ruin your favorite outfit, for example. Or when the cafeteria lady puts gravy on your mashed potatoes after you’ve specifically told her not to. Sound familiar?
Just think how much stress you could avoid by being quick to forgive, by living your life according to 1 Corinthians 13 and not counting up the evils done to you. Imagine the physical and emotional benefits of living like that!
If you’ve allowed yourself to be habitually bound by hostility, that may sound like an impossible dream, but it’s not! Because as a born-again believer, you have the love of God inside you.
Faith To Faith 20 June 2019 by Gloria Copeland
If you’ll yield to that love, it will set you free. Remember when Jesus called Lazarus forth from the grave? He was alive but still bound in the grave clothes. Jesus commanded the bindings to be loosed so that Lazarus could be free to walk.
Jesus wants that same kind of freedom for you. So get into agreement with Him. Say to those deadly habits that have you bound, “In the Name of Jesus, loose me and let me go! I’m putting hostility, unforgiveness and selfishness behind me. I’m going on with God. I’m going to live the life of love!”
Remember: It doesn’t take a medical miracle to turn your life around. All it takes is a decision to yield to the force of love. Do it today!

Joyce Meyer Devotional 19 June 2019 – Heaven
TODAY’S TOPIC: HEAVEN
Key Verse: He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away. — Revelation 21:4
Heaven is the abode of God, the angels, and the souls of those who are granted salvation.
Heaven, the eternal home of the believer in Jesus Christ, is described in the Bible as not only totally peaceful, but also stunningly beautiful (see Revelation 21 and 22).
Having faith that this is our destiny delivers us from the fear of death. Death is not an unknown nothingness, but a graduation into better things than what we have experienced on earth.
As Christians, we can truthfully say, “I will live in heaven forever!” Your address will change someday from earth to heaven, but you will never really die.
What a joy to know that we have the hope of a beautiful, peaceful place where there will be no more tears, pain, or dying, and we will live in the actual presence of God.
Prayer Starter: O, Lord, thank You for eternal life through Jesus! When life is difficult, help me to remember that it won’t last forever, but I will one day know the joy of living with You in heaven. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Joyce Meyer Devotional 17 June 2019 – Invest In Your Healing
Joyce Meyer Devotional 17 June 2019 – Invest in Your Healing
TODAY’S TOPIC: INVEST IN YOUR HEALING
Key Verse: For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what is promised. — Hebrews 10:36
What a blessing it is to know that the Holy Spirit helps us overcome our past.
Thankfully, with faith and patience, you can recover from your past pain, from things that have been done to you, or from mistakes that you have made, but the recovery will require an investment of time on your part. You can either continue to invest in your misery, or you can begin to invest in your healing.
One of the ways you can deal with the past is by confessing God’s promises instead of talking about negative, defeated feelings. When you confess God’s promises instead of your problems, you are exercising your faith and investing in your healing. This is a powerful way to really begin enjoying your life.
Prayer Starter: Father, I’m grateful that I can invest in my own healing by confessing Your Word over my life. Help me to focus on Your promises rather than my problems. Thank You that You have good things in store for my life. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
