MFM Daily Devotional 17th November 2020 – When The Train Derails
You are reading Today’s MFM Daily Devotional for Tuesday 17th November 2020 written by Pastor D. K. Olukoya to inspire your day. God bless you!
TODAY’S TOPIC: WHEN THE TRAIN DERAILS
Fire Scripture: John 1:7-16
TODAY’S WORD: God has an urgent message for you in today’s devotional. You need to pay attention to the issue of destiny. Destiny is a vital issue. Your destiny is the track on which God wants you to run the race of life. Your destiny is your chosen and God given pathway that leads to fulfilment. Your destiny is God programmed charted to make you get fulfilment.
Your destiny is the book that God has written concerning you. Your destiny is a highway that leads to your success and victory as you go through life. Your destiny is where God wants you to be, what God wants you to achieve and the goals that heaven has put in place so that your life will be fulfilling, enriching and everything you do will end up on a positive note. The moment you miss your destiny you have missed life’s greatest assignment.
Whatever makes you to miss your destiny is nothing but an arrow fired against you to make you to derail your destiny and lead you away from where God wants you to be. There is no way your life can flourish and blossom without following the path of destiny. God wants you to only remain where your destiny will prosper. If you are outside the track of destiny then it is crystal clear that the enemy has placed a ladder against the wall of your life. There is no way you can live a glorious life without making sure that you are fulfilling your destiny.
Anything that is outside the arena of destiny will only invite the enemy to come in and gain entrance to your destiny.
Once the enemy is in charge of your destiny, you will always propel it outside the realm where you will succeed as far as your destiny is concerned. The moment you notice that something keeps pushing you outside the realm of destiny you should know that there is a hidden ladder and set fire on it, you will always find some mysterious hands pulling you away into some places outside the realm of your destiny.
Memory verse: But she that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth.
Motivational Quote: Do not be discouraged about who you are, you are moving higher.
Prophetic Word: The power of God will move you from where you are to where you are supposed to be.
HYMN: TRUST AND OBEY
1. When we walk with the Lord in the light of His Word,
What a glory He sheds on our way!
While we do His good will He abides with us still,
And with all who will trust and obey.
Trust and obey,
For there’s no other way,
To be happy in Jesus,
But to trust and obey.
2. Not a shadow can rise,
Not a cloud in the skies,
But His smile quickly drives it away;
Not a doubt nor a fear,
Not a sigh nor a tear,
Can abide while we trust and obey.
3. Not a burden we bear, not a sorrow we share,
But our toil He doth richly repay;
Not a grief nor a loss, not a frown nor a cross,
But is blest if we trust and obey.
4. But we never can prove the delights of His love,
Until all on the altar we lay;
For the favour He shows and the joy He bestows,
Are for them who will trust and obey.
5. Then in fellowship sweet we will sit at His feet,
Or we’ll walk by His side in the way;
What He says we will do, where He sends we will go,
Never fear, only trust and obey.
1. I shall laugh my enemies to scorn after the order of Elijah, in the name of Jesus.
2. This year, I shall sing my song and dance my dance, in the name of Jesus.
3. O God, arise and give me a turnaround miracle, in the name of Jesus.
4. Do something in my life, O Lord, that will make me to celebrate, in the name of Jesus.
5. O God, arise and open Your treasures unto me, in the name of Jesus.
6. O God, arise and give me open heavens, in the name of Jesus.
7. O Lord, make me a candidate of supernatural surprises, in the name of Jesus.
