The way you win some battles is not by defeating the opposition, but by outlasting the opposition. You have to have staying power. You can’t be weak and give up because it’s not happening on your timetable. Some enemies are stubborn. You have to outlast the trouble at work, outlast the slow season in your finances, outlast the difficulty in your marriage. We all want God to deliver us from the attack, but if He’s not changing it, then it’s real simple: you have to outlast the attack.
Quit focusing on what you lost and start focusing on what you have left. Nobody has taken that blessing from you. You are blessed in the city and blessed in the country. You are blessed going in and blessed coming out. That means you are blessed when things are going your way and blessed when they’re not going your way.
You’re blessed in the palace and blessed in the pit. You are blessed when people are good to you and blessed when they’re trying to stop you. Here’s the key: the blessing did not come from people, so it cannot be taken away by people.
