God doesn’t just take you back; He restores you; He gives you back what you lost. It’s hard for us to fathom that God will be good to us even though we’ve done wrong. Angels will rejoice when we return, but not because we did something great, not because we accomplished a goal, but we blew it, we made poor choices. This is the goodness of our God.
There are things that have come against you that should have stopped your destiny, but God was with you. Even when you couldn’t see Him, even when you weren’t making good choices, even when you were running, God didn’t let the setback take you out. The enemy meant it for harm, he thought it would stop your purpose, but you belong to your Creator. He’s been watching over you for your whole life.
You may not see any sign of it; every circumstance says there’s no way. But things are happening that you can’t see. In the unseen realm, God is moving the wrong people out of the way, lining up the healing, the favor, the good breaks. They’re already on your schedule. But here’s the key: if you could see how it was going to happen, that wouldn’t take any faith.
There are times God will allow us to go through a painful season so that He can birth something new on the inside. Paul said in 2 Corinthians 1:4, “God, who comforts us in our time of trouble, so we can comfort those in need with the comfort we have received.” If you go through something you don’t understand, instead of getting upset, “God, why me?” Have a new perspective. God allowed that to happen because He trusts you. He knows He can count on you to take the same comfort, the same healing, the same encouragement that helped you overcome and share it with others.
