God told Moses to go tell the Pharoah to let the Israelites go. But Moses said, “God, I can’t speak to Pharaoh. I have a problem with my speech. I stutter. I don’t speak well.” Moses was looking at what he had: his limitations, his weaknesses, his stuttering. He didn’t realize with every new assignment comes a fresh anointing. God will not ask you to do something and then not give you the ability to do it. You may not have that ability now, the strength, the courage, the talent. But when you need it, it will be there. When it’s time, there will be fresh favor, fresh courage, fresh opportunities. God is not going to leave you lacking, at a deficit. He’s going to equip you and empower you to do what He’s called you to do.

We turn on the news these days and there’s so much negativity. We hear about how bad inflation is, the divisiveness in politics, the unrest in our society. If you allow all that division to get in you, the disrespect and anger are going to pollute your thoughts and steal your joy. You have to be proactive. What are you watching, what are you listening to? Is it building you up, making you more positive, more hopeful, or is it tearing you down, stressing you out, making you angry, upset? You don’t need that in your atmosphere. Life is hard enough without adding all these negative things that make it more difficult.
