MFM Daily Devotional 31st December 2020 – What Seekest Thou?

You are reading Today’s MFM Daily Devotional for Thursday 31st December 2020 written by Pastor D.K Olukoya.
Be inspired by today’s reading. God bless you!

TOPIC: WHAT SEEKEST THOU?

Fire Scripture: Jer. 1:11-19

TODAY’S OUTLINE: MFM Daily Devotional 31st December 2020

What you look for is what you get. What you seek is what you find. You cannot rise above your goals. This truth is very well illustrated in the experience of a sister. The sister went to a whitegarment prophet, whose face she did not see.

She just saw his hand as he stretched it out to collect the consultation fee from her and she heard his voice when he gave a demonic verdict on her case. He said the angel had cancelled her name three times; and she was driven away.

She later came to MFM and sought to know what to do. She was told that she had gone to look for trouble by herself by consulting an evil and false prophet who gave her the evil verdict. There are many people like that sister today, who have gone to collect demonic prophecies.

Many have gone into the camp of the enemy to look for help, and the so-called prophets would get in touch with the demonic world to report back on the success of their plans. Many people are going about seeking healing, instead of learning how to stay in good health. Beloved, it is possible to remain in divine health.

This is possible by going to God to find out the root of your problem. With that information, you will be able to cut the problem down with the axe of fire. Why do you want to be enslaved? Why enrich the pockets of false prophets when the solution is readily available at no financial cost?

Some people continuously seek for deliverance, whereas they can obtain the facilities and learn the principles of resisting the devil by themselves. You can, on your own, expel him and his demons. The secret of this is clearly presented in our book entitled, How To Obtain Personal Deliverance.

You are to know that you cannot go beyond your vision. The height you can see is the height you will attain. How far do you want to go in climbing the mountain of victory? You shall walk on the highway of victory in 2021.

Memory Verse: Luke 12:35 “Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning;”

Motivational Quote: Long journeys require a lot of stamina. There is a spiritual glucose for the endurance race. You must drink Heaven’s tonic in order to recover your lost spiritual strength.

Prophetic Word: The power cooking you in the coven shall be grabbed by the angels of God and put inside the pot that is boiling.

HYMN: Blessed Assurance, Jesus Is Mine!

Blessèd assurance, Jesus is mine!
O what a foretaste of glory divine!
Heir of salvation, purchase of God,
Born of His Spirit, washed in His blood.

Refrain:
This is my story, this is my song,
Praising my Savior, all the day long;
This is my story, this is my song,
Praising my Savior, all the day long.

Perfect submission, perfect delight,
Visions of rapture now burst on my sight;
Angels descending bring from above
Echoes of mercy, whispers of love.

Perfect submission, all is at rest
I in my Savior am happy and blest,
Watching and waiting, looking above,
Filled with His goodness, lost in His love.

PRAYER POINTS:
MORNING:
1. Spiritual weakness and spiritual sickness afflicting my life, die, in the name of Jesus.
2. Every internal power drinking the blood of spiritual power in my life, die, in the name of Jesus.
3. Every arrow fired into my spiritual life, backfire, in the name of Jesus.

EVENING:
1. Serpents and scorpions of powerlessness, die, in the name of Jesus.
2. Power that cannot be insulted by any power of darkness, fall upon me, in the name of Jesus.
3. My life, arise by fire, defeat your defeat, in the name of Jesus.
