MFM Daily Devotional 8th May 2021 Today Message – Victorious Faith

Read MFM Daily Devotional for Saturday 8 May 2021 Today Message written by Pastor D.K Olukoya

TOPIC: VICTORIOUS FAITH (MFM Daily Devotional 7th May 2021)

Fire Scripture: Hebrews 11:1-13

MFM DAILY DEVOTIONAL 8 MAY 2021 TODAY OUTLINE

Faith is one of the bedrocks of Christianity that cannot be underplayed. Without faith, no man can please God. Confession of faith is one of the most outstanding statements in the entire Bible. It then becomes evident that as a child of God, you need faith not only to please God, but also to receive from Him (Matt. 7:7). Whoever must come to God through Jesus Christ must have a measure of faith, when this is mixed with the word of God, then we possess our possession.

You can become a victorious person when you have and are successfully putting to use your faith in Christ. No matter the height, width and depth of your afflictions, you must believe in God to see you through and make you an overcomer. Faith is a fruit of the Spirit. It is a shield in the Christian armour with which you would keep away the fiery darts of the enemy (Eph. 6:16). Certainly, without the above, a Christian soldier is incomplete and unChristlike in conduct.

Not a piece of the armour should be missing, not a part of the fruit either. Beloved, there is nothing you are passing through that is beyond the capacity of God to bring under control. Our God is capable of changing any situation whatsoever. All you need is to put your faith to action through prayers, believing the word of God and His unfailing promises; even praising God when all seems there is no hope. Remember, when you are weak, then He is strong.

Faith, when all seems hopeless, touches the heart of God and moves Him into action on your behalf. Have you got to the end of your tether? Do you feel abandoned? Do you feel isolated and even friends have turned against you? Behold, your Redeemer liveth and He is able to deliver you, heal you and restore all that you have lost (Job 19:25, 42:10). Consider your stand today and He will prove Himself to you. Patriarchs of old were giants in the school of faith.

No wonder Heb. 11 made a list of them. These are men and women who could confront giants, wild animals, strong opposition, affliction and persecution; yet with faith in God, they overcame. However, faith that is not tested and proved cannot be victorious. These aforementioned people went through the same. They held on to faith and became victorious. You can experience the same. All you need is to believe and hold strongly to God and you shall be numbered among the overcomers, in Jesus’ name.

Memory Verse: Hebrews 11:6 – “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”

Motivational Quote: It is faith that can unlock the doors that problems and trials shut against you; activate your faith.

Prophetic Word: Henceforth, you shall possess your victory, even before the battle starts, in the name of Jesus.

He touched me, O, He touched me,
And O, the joy that floods my soul;
Something happened, and now I know,

I will never cease to praise Him,
I’ll shout it while eternity rolls
