TOPIC: WHAT’S INSIDE WILL SHOW
Read: Matthew 12:33-35
33. Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.
34. O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
35. A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.

TODAY’S STUDY: Some children of God argue that God only looks at the heart and not the outward appearance. They forget that its what’s inside that will show on the outside. For instance, when someone is not mentally stable, he or she will manifest signs of insanity. So also the children of God; the content of your heart will reflect in the way you speak, act and dress. How can you say that you are normal, yet, you wear torn jeans (crazy), crazy hairstyle and sag your trousers? What kind of girl puts on a dress that reveals her cleavage or thighs all in the name of fashion?
Whoever dresses like that does not fear God at all. There is a spirit behind riotous dressing of modern teenagers and youths which isn’t the Spirit of God. This indecent dressing has opened up many children to social vices such as incest, prostitution et cetera. May you never be a victim in Jesus name.When a fellow is born again, there is a transformation that takes place from the inside (heart) and it shows in everything that he or she does; his speech, actions, dressing, et cetera reflect Christ.
Point: By their fruits, you shall know them.
