Bible Text: 2 Timothy 2:21-24
[21]If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.
[22]Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
[23]But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.
[24]And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,

Hymn For Today: Take my life and let it be

MEMORY VERSE: Preach the word: be instant in season, out of season: reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine’ 2 Timothy 4:2

LESSON AIM: At the end of this study, the teens should know about the maximal use of God’s blessings for the expansion of the kingdom of God here on earth.

CENTRAL TRUTH: God can use you for His glory and you will swim in His blessings.

INTRODUCTION: It is important for us to serve God and be blessed. According to 1 Peter 4:10-11, each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve the kingdom of God and others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ and the reward is abundant blessing from God.

A. One who has godly priorities & objectives – Revelation 2:5. God wants & uses people who have chosen eternal objectives.
B. One who will pay any price to do the Will of God in his life – Luke 14:27-28, 33.
C. One who loves God and His Word – 2 Thessalonians. 2:10-12.
D. One who has a servant heart – Matthew 20:25-28.
E. One who has a love for lost souls – Matthew 7:12; 22:39 – God can use us to influence & convert others if we love the souls of people enough to take the gospel to them!

Blessing of serving the Lord:
1. Learning Responsibility: When you learn to serve God at young age, you are learning responsibility. Whether they are simply tasked with holding a door open for church visitors as an Usher in the Junior Church or any other role, you are learning responsibility and accountability.

2. Develop Confidence and Self Esteem: When you serve God as teenager, you are developing confidence in yourself and that of the Holy Spirit. You are learning how to create a good relationship with God and the people around you.

Teachers are there to mentor you and you will discover your true gift or talent God has given to you. You will learn how to be a good leader and others will want to learn from you too. Serving God and enlarge His kingdom here on earth is a very important role we must play in our lives.
We get the reward of His blessings, His joy, the benefits and so much more when we dedicate our lives to serving him in truth and spirit

CONCLUSION: God is searching for who will serve Him faithfully, are you ready? Will you be an instrument in His hands to pull the kingdom of darkness down? Serving is a form of worship, a way to express gratitude fo what Jesus has done for us, and to share the love and grace we’ve been given.

ATTENTION: Next week is Revision Day and the following week is Quiz and Interactive Day. Let us read up our past lessons and prepare for the revision and the quiz with our teens. God bless you.
