The portable tabernacle was the symbol of God’s presence among His people and a sanctuary that served as a place of worship while they made their journey from Egypt to the promise land. Observe God’s specific instruction to Moses about its construction (v.30). It should be as shown him on the mountain of the Lord.
Why do you think there is such precision as to the sizes, the colours and the materials of different parts used in the construction of the tabernacle? What do these tell you about the nature of God? Indeed, we serve a majestic God who deserves our worship in the beauty of holiness!
The tabernacle had two chambers; a holy place and a most holy place separated by a heavy veil. Thank God that when Christ died, the veil separating the holy place from the holy of holies in the temple which had replaced the tabernacle was torn into two symbolizing free access to God (Read Mark 15:38; Hebrews 10: 19 – 22).

THANK GOD FOR:
► Showing us the way, the truth and the life to live daily.
► The righteousness of Christ that has given us the Justification to be called children of God.
PRAY FOR:
► Daily sitting at the feet of the Master to be empowered for the tasks and challenges of the day.
► The understanding of God’s word and leadings so we will continue to grow in Him.
► Grace to daily submit to His Lordship in all things.
► Daily revelation of His word so we can continue to follow Him.
PRAY AGAINST:
► Whatever will make us go back to Egypt, to the old things we had hitherto rejected.
► Moving out of God’s will for our life, thereby doing things that please ourselves instead of what pleases God.
Offer a prayer of faith in line with Deuteronomy 1:11
