SEEDS OF DESTINY TODAY 15TH JUNE 2022 SOD DEVOTIONAL
TODAY’S TOPIC: FAITH AND DILIGENCE
SCRIPTURE: For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.1 John 5:4.
THOUGHT FOR DAY: Your faith and relationship with God requires diligence.

Diligence is key to greatness. There is no future for the lazy; there is no destiny for the indolent.
Now, in what area are you expected to deploy diligence in life?
A major area for the deployment of diligence is faith. Be diligent in the development of your faith and relationship with God. Faith development is a diligent process.
Your faith and relationship with God requires your diligence.
Joshua 1:8 says:
This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
There is no victory for the lazy. Many people spend many hours watching garbage on television. They do not have time to study the Word of God. People do not grow like that. You must meditate on the Word of God day and night to grow in the faith.
Beloved, be diligent in developing your faith. This is because your faith determines your life. Develop your faith because your faith determines your strength and victory. Take time to develop quality relationship with God. Take time to study the Word of God and pray. There are many ungodly people who go fetish to fortify themselves. As a Christian, you need to take time to fast and cook (fortify) yourself spiritually.
1 John 5:4 says:
For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
Beloved, make up your mind to be diligent in the development of your faith and relationship with God.
REMEMBER THIS: Your faith and relationship with God requires diligence.
ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Pay attention to your faith and relationship with God.
2. Spend quality time with God at the place of prayer and study the Word always.
PRAYER: Lord, I receive the grace to conquer every form of laziness in my life. Help me to spend quality time with You at the place of prayer and the study of the Word, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
