SCRIPTURE: And they shall be mine, saith the Lord of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him. Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not. Malachi 3:17-18.

Dedication to God is very critical to the fulfilment of life and destiny. God showcases the dedicated to the world. This was what we saw in the lives of Joseph, Job, Daniel, Peter, Paul, etc. No one can be relevant in life without being dedicated to God. Therefore, it is very important to look at the subject of dedication.
Previously, we saw that dedication means being sold out to God, the willingness to go all the way with God and walking with God.
Now, another meaning of dedication is, deadly commitment to God. The question is, what is the implication of being deadly committed to God? Seeds of Destiny 21 January 2019
It is being dead to the pleasures of the world
To be deadly committed to God means to be dead to the pleasures of the world; it is to be committed to God even till death. It is likened to the way a marital vow is exchanged between intending couple on their wedding day. The couple normally confess that they would love each other in all situations until death do them part. This is how a dedicated person is ready to go all the way with God. When you are deadly committed to God, you are dead to the world (Galatians 6:14); what the world holds important means nothing to you if it does not mean anything to God. To be deadly committed to God is to be dead to pleasure, the flesh and human opinion.
