TOPIC: SECRETS OF THE BLESSING.
SCRIPTURE: He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face… PSALM 24:5-6
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The blessed generation is a God-seeking generation.
The Blessing of God is a great asset in the life of every child of God. Anyone who wants to live a successful life on earth and end up well in eternity should crave for the Blessing of God.
The Blessing is what establishes the generation of the blessed (Psalm 112:1-2) and preserves their lives and destinies (Isaiah 65:8). It also guarantees the fulfilment of the blessed (Proverbs 10:22) and processes or manufactures people from the realm of smallness to greatness. The Blessing is the reason why the destiny and prosperity of the blessed are independent of external circumstances.
Beloved, from the benefits of the Blessing outlined above, it is obvious that the Blessing of God is a vital necessity for life and destiny fulfilment.
This is why we shall be looking at some secrets of the Blessing in our study today.
1. The pursuit of God
Our anchor Scripture makes it clear that the blessed generation is a God-seeking generation. When you know, God knows, and the devil knows that God is your passion, and that nothing can come between you and God, then you are a candidate for the Blessing (Matthew 6:33).
2. The lifestyle of giving and sacrifice (Malachi 3:10, Genesis 8:22). God blessed Noah after Noah’s sacrifice unto God. By giving, the Blessing was pulled. No major consumer who is not a giver has any future in the Blessing.
3. Existence as a Blessing (Genesis 12:2). The number of lives that benefit from you determines the extent to which you can be blessed.
4. Connection and submission to blessed spiritual authority (Hebrews 7:7). When you hide your head under the cover of a heavy blessing, it is not possible for you not to be blessed. Your connection to a blessed spiritual cover who speaks into your life and destiny goes a long way in guaranteeing your Blessing.
Remember this: The blessed generation is a God-seeking generation.
ASSIGNMENT (S):
1. Maintain a dieless passion and hunger for God.
2. Be a blessing to someone today; show love to the less privileged.
3. Refuse to dishonour spiritual authorities.
PRAYER: Lord, I receive the grace to adhere to the demands of the Blessing. I ask that You bless me beyond measure and enlarge my coast, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
