TOPIVC: NO NEGATIVE HEAT
“And it came to pass, when David and his men were come to Ziklag on the third day, that the Amalekites had invaded the south, and Ziklag, and smitten Ziklag, and burned it with fire;” (1 Samuel 30: 1)
That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.
When the Amalekites invaded Ziklag, they burned it with fire. They reduced everything in Ziklag to ashes. One thing that fire does is that it produces heat. So the enemies of David projected a negative heat towards David’s possessions; they made Ziklag too hot for David to be in. They sent heat that would make David’s habitation uninhabitable. They created heat that would melt away David’s priced possessions. They created negative heat.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: every demonic heat the enemy has projected against you, I command it to cease now. Any fire the enemy has stirred up to destroy and consume what the Lord has given you, I shut it down. Every negative fire that the enemy has set up to make you uncomfortable, I decree, let calmness return. Whatsoever area of your life that the enemy has made too hot for you, I command calmness to return.
When excessive heat is operational in a place, people may not be able to stay there; and anyone who stays there is usually very uncomfortable. So the enemies of David made an arrangement that would make it difficult for David to remain in Ziklag. Hear me as I hear the Lord: every enchantment or arrangement the enemy has thrown up to make you uncomfortable in your own zone, I command it to cease by fire.
If there be any area of your life that has become too hot for comfort, let calmness be restored. Let peace be restored in areas where there has been no peace. Let calmness return to your troubled waters. Let the hand of the Lord calm every restive situation around you. Let the angels of God put off every negative fire the enemy has set up around you. Let the angels of God halt every negative heat that has come to steal your comfort.
Today, peace is restored to every troubled area of your life. Every heat from the enemy ceases now.
Isaiah 49: 10 says: “They shall not hunger nor thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun smite them: for he that hath mercy on them shall lead them, even by the springs of water shall he guide them.”
Declare With Me: No satanic heat will prevail over me, in Jesus’ name!
