Bible Verse For Today Wednesday 21 May 2025 Morning Reading

1 Corinthians 15:51 (KJV) “Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed.”

Message: “The Mystery of Transformation”
In this powerful verse, the apostle Paul unveils a mystery—a divine truth previously hidden but now revealed: not all believers will experience death (“sleep”), but all will be changed. This speaks of the resurrection and rapture, a moment when both the dead in Christ and the living believers will be transformed instantaneously.

This is not a metaphor but a prophetic promise of glorification—where our mortal, corruptible bodies will be changed into immortal, incorruptible ones. This transformation is not man’s doing but God’s supernatural act, fulfilling His redemptive plan.

For the believer, this verse stirs hope, urgency, and expectation. It’s a call to live ready, walk in faith, and encourage one another with the promise that Jesus is coming again, and when He does, we shall be changed forever!

Prayer:
Gracious Father, Thank You for the blessed hope we have in Christ—that we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed. Thank You for the mystery now revealed through Your Word. Lord, prepare my heart for Your return. Help me to live with eternity in view and to walk in holiness and expectation. Strengthen my faith and help me encourage others with this glorious hope. May I be found faithful when the trumpet sounds, ready to be transformed into Your likeness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
