In Ephesians 5:18, believers are given a clear instruction: do not be controlled by worldly influences, but be filled with the Holy Spirit.
Being “filled with the Spirit” means allowing God to guide your thoughts, actions, and decisions daily. Instead of relying on temporary things that can lead to confusion or loss of control, God calls us to live under the influence of His Spirit—bringing clarity, wisdom, peace, and power.
The Holy Spirit empowers us to live a life that pleases God. He strengthens us against temptation, directs our steps, and fills our hearts with joy and purpose.
