“Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.”

Christ is the Fulfillment of the Promise
This verse highlights the precision and power of God’s covenant. The promise made to Abraham was ultimately pointing to one Seed — Christ, not to many descendants in general. Jesus is the fulfillment of every covenant promise God made to Abraham, and through faith in Him, believers become heirs of those same promises. Our inheritance is secured not by lineage but by relationship with Christ.
