“Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:”
Message
This verse is a strong reminder that God is not a quitter. Whatever He starts, He finishes. If God has started a good work in your life—whether it’s a dream, a calling, a transformation, or a breakthrough—you can be confident that He will bring it to completion. Sometimes we face delays, discouragements, or detours, but none of these cancel God’s plan.
Paul wrote this verse while in prison, yet he was still confident in God’s unfailing commitment to His people. The good work in you is God’s work—your spiritual growth, your destiny, your purpose—and He is faithful to see it through.
Let this verse boost your faith: you are a work in progress, and God is the Master Builder. He doesn’t abandon His projects. You may not be where you want to be, but you’re certainly not where you used to be—God is still working!
