Daily Bible Verse For Thursday 26th June 2025 – 1 Corinthians 2:6
“Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought.”
Key Message:
Heavenly Wisdom Surpasses Worldly Power
Paul emphasizes that the wisdom shared among the spiritually mature is not worldly or philosophical but divine. True wisdom doesn’t originate from human intellect or the rulers of this age, whose influence will fade. Instead, God’s wisdom is eternal, powerful, and revealed by the Spirit. As believers grow in spiritual maturity, they gain access to this higher wisdom — one that confounds worldly logic and leads to eternal purpose.
Supporting Bible References:
James 3:17 – “But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable…”
1 Corinthians 1:25 – “Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men…”
Proverbs 3:5-7 – “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart… be not wise in thine own eyes.”
Isaiah 55:8-9 – “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways…”
Today’s Declaration:
I declare that I walk in the wisdom of God, not in the wisdom of this world. The insight I carry is divine, pure, and guided by the Spirit. I reject worldly confusion and embrace the counsel of heaven. As I mature in Christ, I receive revelation that positions me above worldly limitations. I operate in divine strategies, supernatural understanding, and God-given authority. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
