“The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.”

Life often presents us with uncertainties—unseen dangers, spiritual attacks, and emotional battles—but today’s verse brings powerful assurance: God is our Keeper. He doesn’t just protect us from physical harm; He guards our soul — our thoughts, emotions, and will. Whether you are stepping out to work, staying at home, or on a journey, the Lord promises continual preservation.
This is not a temporary promise. It’s “from this time forth, and even for evermore.” In a world where evil seems to multiply, you can live with confidence, knowing you are under divine watch. The Lord never sleeps nor slumbers; He is your constant Helper.
So walk into today with peace in your heart. God is not only watching over you — He is actively preserving your life.

Father, I thank You for being my Keeper and Defender. Thank You for preserving me from all evil and watching over every step I take. I trust in Your protection today and every day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
