“It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.”
Devotional Message:
Welcome to the first day of August! Every new month is a divine opportunity to start afresh, to reset, and to align with God’s purpose. God, in His infinite mercy, gives us fresh grace—not based on our perfection, but His compassion.
Lamentations reminds us that it’s not our strength that brought us this far, but the mercy of the Lord. His mercy is not stale or leftover from yesterday—it is new every morning and every month. As you step into August, let gratitude fill your heart and faith guide your steps. Refuse to dwell on yesterday’s failures or fears. God is doing a new thing.
Whether July was filled with joy or sorrow, August brings new possibilities. Let your trust rest not in circumstances, but in the faithful God who walks with you. His mercy is your covering, His compassion is your comfort, and His faithfulness is your anchor.
