Daily Morning Prayer with Scriptures: November 4, 2026 (Wednesday)
Good morning. It is Wednesday, the middle of the week, and pressure may already be building. Before the day pulls you in every direction, give the first few minutes to God. This short prayer takes about three minutes and works wherever you are: the USA, UK, Canada, Nigeria or anywhere else.
Today’s Morning Scriptures
“Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me: for my soul trusteth in thee: yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities be overpast.” (Psalm 57:1, KJV)
“The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.” (Nahum 1:7, KJV)
“My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him. He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved.” (Psalm 62:5-6, KJV)
A Quick Thought

Today’s Morning Prayer
Praise
Lord, You are good, and You are a stronghold in the day of trouble. Thank You that You know me and care for me.
Surrender
Father, I give You this Wednesday: my workload, my worries and my unfinished tasks. Let Your will be done.
Honesty
Here is what I am carrying this morning. I pour it out before You, and I hold nothing back.
Shelter
Be my refuge today. When pressure rises, let me run to You first, and let me rest in the shadow of Your wings.
Quiet Waiting
Teach me to wait on You alone. Quiet my urge to panic, to compare or to carry what is not mine.
Protection
Cover my family, my home and everyone I love. Keep us safe in all our going out and coming in.
Provision and Favour
Meet my needs today, and send help where I cannot manage on my own.
Others
Show me someone who is under pressure today. Let me offer a listening ear or a practical hand.
A Short Declaration to Speak Aloud
The Lord is my rock, my defence and my refuge. I trust Him with all my heart, and I will not be moved.
Closing Prayer
Thank You, Father, for hearing me. I walk into this Wednesday sheltered in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
