JOEL OSTEEN 11TH NOVEMBER 2021 DAILY INSPIRATIONAL MESSAGE
The trouble is temporary, but the glory is permanent. The key is not to stay focused on the suffering; stay focused on the glory that’s coming. It may be tough now, life has dealt you an unfair hand, but that suffering is not in vain; it’s serving a purpose. It’s leading you to greater favor, greater anointing, greater victories.
Jesus said, “He that hungers and thirsts after righteousness will be filled.” Notice the principle: you have to be thirsty before God fills you. They had to dig ditches, in faith, before any water would come. They were saying by their actions, “God, we’re thirsty. Yes, we’re in a desert, but we believe You can bring water. We don’t see a way, but we know You have a way.” God could have brought them water without them digging ditches. He could have done it despite them being dehydrated, doubting, negative, and asking, “How can this happen?” But God says, “If you’re thirsty, I’ll show you good things. If you’re thirsty, I will fill you with water, with health, with abundance.”
