It’s easy to get stuck in life. When we’ve gone through disappointments, had a setback, tried something and the dream didn’t work out, we can settle where we are and think this is as good as it gets. But God said in Isaiah, “I am doing a new thing, even now it springs forth, can you not perceive it?” God is about to do something new in your life. He didn’t create you to get stuck at one level and stay there. He has new opportunities, new relationships, new favor.

Today’s Word On Joel Osteen 18 May 2021 Tuesday Today Message
In Genesis 3 after Adam and Eve fell into sin, when God came looking for them in the garden, they hid in fear and shame. Sometimes when we sense that God is looking for us, we think, “I don’t want God to find me. I’m ashamed of my weaknesses and mistakes. I already feel condemned enough.” This is where we mistake who God really is, as though He’s waiting for us to make a mistake, ready to push us down even further. But God is not coming to condemn you.
He’s coming to restore you. He wants to give you all that belongs to you as His child—the freedom, the joy, the peace, the victory, the abundance. Jesus said He came “to set at liberty those who are bruised” (Luke 4:18). When you’re bruised by life, when you’re hurt, it’s easy to feel sorry for yourself and hide. God is looking for you to set you free, to heal you of your hurts, and to make you whole again.
Prayer for Today: Father, thank You that You didn’t create me to hide my faults and weaknesses and hide from You. Thank You that I can come to You and unload all the weight of heaviness, regrets, and feelings of unworthiness. I believe that You are setting me free and restoring me to wholeness. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Here’s a key: pulling someone else down will never make you rise higher. If you sow disrespect, you’re going to reap disrespect. If you sow rumors and stirring up trouble, you’re going to reap it. That will keep you from your destiny. A much better approach is to celebrate those that are ahead. Let’s be people that celebrate success, that learn from those that are ahead, that honor people that have been blessed.
