Your destiny is tied to certain people. When you connect with the favor on their life, that’s what’s going to cause you to rise higher. But if we won’t humble ourselves, if we think, “I’m as smart as them. I’m not going to acknowledge their gifts. I’m not going to cheer them on, they should be cheering me on.” That’s going to limit us. Here’s a key. If you can’t celebrate someone else’s success, you will never get to where they are. It’s a test. God brings these favor connections across our path.

Some of the people we’re tempted to write off are chosen vessels. They’re going to advance the Kingdom; they’re going to do great things. All they need is for someone to wait on them, someone to say, “Yes, they’re pretty far out, but I’m going to send them a text and tell them that I’m praying for them. I’m going to invite them to lunch, not to condemn them, not to try to straighten them out, but to tell them that I love them, that I believe in them, that if they need anything, all they have to do is ask.” Will you wait on someone while God is changing them?
