Joel Osteen Daily 23 March 2022 Devotional | Hold Tightly, Hold Loosely

Read Today’s Joel Osteen Daily Devotional for Wednesday 23rd March 2022 written by Joel & Victoria Osteen.

JOEL OSTEEN DAILY 23 MARCH 2022 DEVOTIONAL WEDNESDAY

TODAY’S TOPIC: HOLD TIGHTLY, HOLD LOOSELY

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
“Does the clay say to the potter, ‘What are you making?’” – Isaiah 45:9, NIV

Today’s Joel Osteen Daily 23 March 2022 Devotional Message

Many years ago, Victoria and I were certain we’d found our dream house. We prayed over it, thanking God that it was ours, and made an offer. But the seller rejected our offer. We were deeply disappointed, but if we’re only going to be happy if God does it our way, that’s not trusting Him; that’s giving God orders.

A few months later, we purchased another house. A few years after that, we sold half of that property for more than we paid for the whole property and built a new house there. God blessed us in ways greater than we’d ever imagined.

We believe in praying bold prayers for our dreams, believing for big things. But we’ve learned to let God do it His way. Hold tightly to what God puts in your heart, but hold loosely to how it’s going to happen. Don’t get set in your ways. Don’t be discouraged because it hasn’t happened the way you thought. God is working out His plan for your life.

A PRAYER FOR TODAY
“Father, thank You that You are the potter and that my life is being shaped by Your hands. Thank You that I can come to You with bold prayers for my dreams, but not hold tightly to how You make it happen. I know You are working Your plan out for my life. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
