Sometimes, we’re doing our best, praying, believing, but nothing’s happening. The medical report is not getting better, doors are not opening, our finances are not improving. There’s no sign that it’s going to happen. It’s easy to get discouraged and give up on what we’re believing for. But the Scripture says, “Faith is the evidence of things not seen.” If you can see it, it doesn’t take any faith. If you have the evidence, it’s easy to stay encouraged. But to reach your destiny, there will be these times when there is no evidence. This is when you have to dig down deep and say, “I don’t have to have the evidence. I’m not moved by what I see; I’m moved by what I know. God, I know You are faithful to what You promised.”
God’s going to open the windows of heaven and pour out blessings you cannot contain. One touch of His favor and you’ll go from famine to flourishing, from barely enough to more than enough. Now, do your part and get in agreement with Him. “Father, thank You that my job is not my source but You are my Source. I’m grateful for this medicine, but You are my healer. I don’t see how I can accomplish my dreams, but I know You have a way where I don’t see a way.”

You may have these times when you’re behind closed doors, you feel like you’re outnumbered, the odds are against you. But you have to remind yourself who your doorkeeper is. You have to keep this Scripture in your spirit: God will open doors that no person can shut. The enemy may have put you behind a door of sickness, trouble, addiction. You feel chained; there’s no way out. No, your time is coming. God won’t let you get into a problem that He can’t get you out of. He wouldn’t have let that door close if He didn’t have a way to open it.
Prayer for Today
“Father, thank You that Mary could believe Your promise because she knew she was Your servant and child. Thank You that no word from You has ever failed. I believe that I am Your child and servant as well, and Your words to me will be fulfilled. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
