Today’s Topic: Being in the Right Place
Scripture: And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the LORD your God. “Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the country.” – Deuteronomy 28:2–3, NKJV
Today’s Word
There are specific places that God has designed for you to be blessed, places where He has favor, opportunity, and provision waiting for you. Your destiny is connected to certain places. You can have faith and a great attitude, but if you’re not in the right place, you can miss what God has in store. You have to be sensitive to what God is saying to you, to His still small voice leading you into your place of blessing.
The Scripture says that God is ordering your steps. Sometimes He’ll have you stay where it’s uncomfortable, where it’s difficult, and you’re tempted to leave. Sometimes the right place is an unfair place, a place where you’re doing the right thing, but the wrong thing is happening.
Other times, God will close a door and it looks like a setback, but He’s moving you to a place of promotion. Don’t fight closed doors or get discouraged when you get pushed out. Learn to embrace change. God wouldn’t be changing things if He wasn’t leading you to a place of greater blessing.
Prayer For Today
“Father, thank You for Your promise that as I honor You and keep You first place, blessings are headed my way, tracking me down and overtaking me. Thank You that You have specific places of blessing for me. Help me to hear Your voice and know the places where You are ordering my steps. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
You’ve tried and maybe it hasn’t worked out. You feel limited, like you’re at a disadvantage, at the mercy of what you’re up against. That’s okay. It’s going to happen by the Spirit of the Most High. God, in His great mercy, is going to release you from every bondage, free you from every restriction.
You’re about to step into a new level of freedom, peace, productivity, fulfillment. Things that were slowing you down, draining your joy, your creativity, your potential, those forces have been broken. Now, you have to do your part and get in agreement with God.
There may be things that have built up in your mind, telling you the giants are too big, you can’t accomplish your dream, you’re not worthy. Those strongholds have been there long enough. This is your time to be free. The good news is you have the solution. You can wash that off with the water of God’s Word. Start doing a daily cleansing.
Every morning, release the negative, release the worry, the hurts. Come back to a place of peace, knowing that God has you in the palm of His hand. He hasn’t brought you this far to leave you. The enemy is whispering those lies to try to deceive you into missing your Promised Land. Wash those toxins away by declaring what God says about you. You are strong, talented, and well able.
