Today’s Topic: He Knows the Way

Scripture: Our Lord is great, with limitless strength; we’ll never comprehend what he knows and does. Psalm 147:5, MSG

Today’s Word
You may be facing a situation you don’t understand. You’ve gone through all the options and don’t see an answer to how it will ever work out. That’s when it’s easy to live worried and upset. But you have to be still and know that He is God. You don’t have to be God. You don’t have to figure it out. You don’t have to come up with the solution. God is on the throne.

That’s the key to faith—trusting when you don’t understand, trusting when you don’t have the answers, trusting when it seems like it’s just the opposite of what you were hoping. Faith is about being comfortable not knowing. Just because God doesn’t show you the future doesn’t mean it’s not going to work out better than you can imagine. Don’t let what you don’t know and what you can’t see keep you from releasing your faith.

When you believe when every thought says there’s no way, God has provision coming for you, something that wouldn’t have normally happened, something out of the ordinary—favor, healing, the right people, opportunity.

Prayer For Today
“Father, thank You that what lies ahead and is unknown to me is well known to You. I choose to rely on Your strength and Your Word to guide me through everything I don’t understand. I trust that You will go before me with Your plan and get me to where I’m supposed to be. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

We all have things we dread, that we’re not looking forward to. Sometimes, it’s not simple things; it’s taking treatment for the cancer, it’s going through a legal battle, dealing with a child that’s off course. Yes, it’s difficult, but you have to reframe it. You’ve been armed with strength for that battle. God wouldn’t have allowed it if it was going to stop your destiny. Don’t go in with a defeated mentality. “This is not fair. I’ll never get through it.”

No, be strong. Be of good courage for the Lord your God is with you. Dreading takes your strength; it weakens your faith, sours your attitude. You have to see that challenge through the right lens: the lens of faith, the lens of no weapon formed against you will prosper, the lens of what God started He’s going to finish.
