Today’s Topic: Take Time Every Day
Scripture: By this I know that you delight in me: my enemy will not shout in triumph over me. – Psalm 41:11, ESV
Today’s Word
Today, look back over your life at all those places where God has done unusual, uncommon things that showed He delights in you. Don’t take them for granted. They are a big deal. God gave you breath to breathe for today. He woke you up this morning. He’s the One who sustains you. He protects you from things you know nothing about. You’re still standing in spite of the disappointment, the loss.
You’re still healthy, still blessed. If it had not been for the goodness of God, where would you be? You may have been under attack in your health, but the enemy couldn’t finish you off. You may be up against some big obstacles, but God is saying, “Am I not the God who parted the Red Sea? Am I not the God who closed the mouths of lions? Am I not the God who has brought you this far, who has protected you, promoted you, favored you, and made ways where you didn’t see a way?” Take time every day to thank God for what He’s done.
Prayer For Today
“Father, thank You for the history I have with You and for every time You have not allowed the enemy to triumph over me. Thank You for all the times when You’ve shown me that You have me in the palms of Your hands. By this I know that I will triumph today. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
TODAY’S INSPIRATIONAL MESSAGE: God is not going to let you miss your destiny. There will be times that you’re at your limits. You’ve done all you can. You’ve prayed, believed, worked hard, but it’s not improving. Don’t worry, God is speaking to the people you need who can do what you can’t do. Conversations are happening that you know nothing about. God is speaking to people to open doors for you, to bring contracts, to help turn problems around.
God knows not only who you’re going to need but when you’re going to need them. He is ordering the steps of the people who are necessary for your destiny. Quit worrying about how it’s going to work out. God is in control of your life. He’s working behind the scenes arranging exactly what you need. God knows how to make you stand out. He knows how to draw people to you. You don’t have to try to get attention or make yourself be seen, so people know you’re there and what you can do. Be still and know that He is God. Be your best where you are and trust Him to make you shine.
