When God sees you giving it your all when things aren’t improving, still pursuing your goals, still serving, giving, excelling, He may not bring you out of the challenge when you thought, but He will cause you to prosper in the challenge. What’s a greater testimony: that God brought you out of the trouble, or that He caused you to flourish in the trouble? That God stopped the trouble, or that you prospered in the trouble?
You are an invincible foe. The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead lives in you. The enemy can’t defeat you. He can’t stop your purpose unless you allow him to deceive you, if you let him get in your head. Don’t start believing his lies, dwelling on negative, doubt, compromise, can’t do it, never going to work out. Once you give in, all kinds of discouragement and turmoil will be released. The enemy can’t beat you from the outside; he has to get in your thoughts.
It may look fine; it makes sense. Thoughts are whispering, “It’s okay.” But the Spirit of God on the inside will rise up and you’ll feel a check, an uneasiness. Something says, “It’s not right. It’s not what it looks like.” When you’re sensitive to what you’re feeling, you listen to that inward witness, that’s God keeping you from harm. That’s the spirit of truth revealing things. God will always give you a warning before you make a mistake. He’ll always speak to your spirit. There will be an unrest, an uneasiness. If you’ll be aware and act on it, it will keep you from heartache.
