The Scripture says, “Call on the name of the Lord and He will answer you.” Sometimes, we call on people, call on our friends, call on our relatives. They can only do so much, but when you call on the Source, the Creator of the Universe, that’s when things happen that you couldn’t make happen. God wants us to depend on Him.
God took David, a shepherd boy from a low-income family, and turned him into a king. He gave Abraham and Sarah a baby when they were almost a hundred years old. He healed my mother from terminal cancer. He has things in your future that will amaze you. Paul said in Ephesians, “In the ages to come, we would see the surpassing greatness of God’s favor.” We are living in the day Paul talked about. We are in the ages to come. This is when God has far and beyond favor, favor that you’ve never seen.
TODAY’S PRAYER: “Father, thank You that You have already determined the right time to bring to pass the healing, breakthroughs, and blessings in my life. Thank You that You’ve scheduled what You’ve ordained for me. I am going to stay in peace and know that it is in Your hands to fulfill, not for me to try to make happen. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
