Scripture:“But the fruit of the [Holy] Spirit [the work which His presence within accomplishes] is love, joy (gladness), peace, patience (an even temper, forbearance), kindness, goodness (benevolence), faithfulness, gentleness (meekness, humility), self-control (self-restraint, continence)…” – GALATIANS 5:22-23 (AMPC)
When the Holy Spirit lives inside you, you have everything He has. His fruit is in you. The seed has been planted. God gives each one of us various gifts to use, but in order to use your gifts in the most powerful way as He desires, you must first allow the fruit to grow up and mature within you by cultivating it.
When you know what God has available for you and are open to receiving Him, His Spirit will give you the power you need to produce good fruit. If you are willing to develop the character qualities of the fruit of the Spirit, you will be able to move into the blessed, exceptional type of life God wants for you.
Prayer Starter: Lord, thank You for the fruit of Your Spirit developing inside of me. Help me to only produce good fruit and thank You for the great life you have planned for me. In Jesus’ name, amen.
