Today’s Scripture: My life dissolves and weeps itself away for heaviness; raise me up and strengthen me according to [the promises of] Your word. Remove from me the way of falsehood and unfaithfulness [to You], and graciously impart Your law to me. – Psalm 119:28-29
Today’s Message On Joyce Meyer Devotional for 3rd February 2021:
We need to be strengthened and renewed on a daily basis, physically, mentally, and emotionally. It’s important for us to be prepared and strong so we don’t fall apart every time we have to face an unexpected test.
Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and He is always there to help us develop stability. When we go to Him for support—acknowledging that He’s our Source of strength—He gives us the comfort our hearts need, the wisdom to make right decisions, and the strength to do what He’s asked us to do (see 2 Corinthians 1:3-4; James 1:5; Philippians 2:13; 4:13).
The more we walk with Him, the more He restores and renews us from the inside out, and the more ready we are for each new challenge.
Prayer Starter: Lord, thank You for providing the strength I need to grow and be prepared for the things I’ll face today. You’re my one and only Source, so please help me always remember to look to You for strength instead of relying on myself. In Jesus’ name, amen.
