TOPIC: TREAT EVERYONE EQUALLY
SCRIPTURE: My brethren, pay no servile regard to people [show no prejudice, no partiality]…. James 2:1 (AMPC)
I have learned in my life that it is important to God that we treat all people with respect and honor. They are all equally loved and valued by Him, and we should do the same. We have a tendency to treat people better if we think they may be able to do something for us, or if they are seen as important in the eyes of the world, but that isn’t the way God desires for us to behave.
God “shows no partiality” (Acts 10:34) and He is good to all people. As you go about your daily business, strive to be good and respectful to everyone you come in contact with, remembering that each of them is important to God.
Prayer of the Day: Father, please help me to treat all people with the same love, honor, and respect that I want to be shown. Let me see others through Your eyes, and value them as You do, amen.
