MFM Daily Devotional 23rd June 2020 – Overcoming Satanic Attacks by Pastor D.K. Olukoya

TUESDAY’S TOPIC: OVERCOMING SATANIC ATTACKS

Memory Verse: Habakkuk 3:10 “The mountains saw thee, and they trembled: the overflowing of the water passed by: the deep uttered his voice, and lifted up his hands on high.”

Motivational Quote: God’s main problem with the labourers in His vineyard is absenteeism. God wants you to be present in His vineyard in order to be in the centre of divine blessings.

Prophetic Word: Any power trying to hinder your plans, to suppress your star, give you sad times, let those powers be put to shame in the name of Jesus.

Fire Scripture: Psalm 57:3-7
3 He sends from heaven and saves me,
rebuking those who hotly pursue me—[a] God sends forth his love and his faithfulness.

4 I am in the midst of lions;
I am forced to dwell among ravenous beasts—
men whose teeth are spears and arrows,
whose tongues are sharp swords.

5 Be exalted, O God, above the heavens;
let your glory be over all the earth.

6 They spread a net for my feet—
I was bowed down in distress.
They dug a pit in my path—
but they have fallen into it themselves.

7 My heart, O God, is steadfast,
my heart is steadfast;
I will sing and make music.

Today’s Outline: MFM Daily Devotional 23rd June 2020

Satanic attacks have become part of human experience. Today’s devotional reveals how to overcome these attacks. A certain woman was made the principal of one of the best secondary schools in Nigeria. Everything was going on well, until one day when a student came to her office and asked her if she was the new principal and she said yes. The girl further asked her whether she was aware of what happened to her predecessor.

Before she could say a word, she said to her: “Let me warn you. The person who left this place did not pray this sort of prayers you are praying. You know that you do not have fire and you are praying this sort of prayers. You have to be very careful.” And before she could stand up to respond, she started feeling dizzy.

The whole office started to turn around before her eyes and she fell on the floor. By the time she opened her eyes, she found herself on a hospital bed with drips. All that she could remember was that she was in her office talking to a student.

After sometime, she was discharged from the hospital; and she went back to school. But, right from that day, she started seeing a wall anytime she went out. The wall would suddenly appear and she was the only one who saw it. She would try to push the way, without any success.

Even when she wanted to cross the road, the wall would appear and she would stay in the middle of the road trying to push it away, thereby constituting herself into a nuisance to other road users. Her enemies wanted to make her retire and expire before her time.
