MFM DAILY DEVOTIONAL FOR SUNDAY 27TH JUNE 2021

TOPIC: FREEDOM FROM CONDEMNATION

Fire Scripture: Roman 8:1-14

MFM Daily Devotional 27 June 2021 Outline

The expression “no condemnation” means that you are innocent of all accusations. In Christ, there is no condemnation and no separation from the love of Jesus to all believers. Where does condemnation come from and how do we regain freedom from the sins that have condemned us? These are questions you must answer as a Christian if you intend to walk with God in freedom and power. You must understand that the work of satan is to steal the words of God from our hearts and sow doubt and condemnation.

Satan is the accuser of the brethren, so you need to know how to distinguish between his voice and God’s voice and how to respond. Anytime the devil comes with his accusations in your heart, as a child of God, always remind him that you are a child of God. Therefore, there is now no condemnation for you, and nothing shall separate you from the love of God. You need to confront him with the promises of God. Remember how Jesus boldly faced him (the tempter) in the wilderness.

Be courageous. To be free from condemnation, you also need to live a vibrant spiritual life, bearing in mind that the things of the flesh are in enmity with God. A worldly mind will not obey the law of God, because it submits to sin. As long as your heart lives in rebellion to the word of God, it cannot pleaseGod (Romans 8:7-8).

You must not allow the flesh to have any control over your life again. You are no longer a slave to the flesh and your body is now the temple of the living Holy God. Jesus has purchased you with His blood and you must make every effort to live for Him as your Lord and Master. Beloved, as you believe in the finished work of Christ and live a life pleasing to Him, you ramin free from condemnation.

Memory verse: Romans 8:1 – “There is therefore no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.”

Motivational Quote: Stop wearing the countenance of discouragement and downcastement. Put on the countenance of joy and gladness. That countenance will cut through situations of oppositions.

Prophetic Word: Power will change hands in your life today, in the name of Jesus.

HYMN: The God of Abra’am Praise

1. I was sinking deep in sin, Sinking to rise no more,
Over whelm’d by guilt within, Mercy I did implore.
Then the Master of the sea Heard my despairing cry,
Christ my Saviour lifted me, Now safe am I.

Chorus
Love lifted me! Love lifted me!
When no one but Christ could help, Love lifted me!
Love lifted me! Love lifted me!
When no one but Christ could help, Love lifted me.

2. Souls in danger, look above, Jesus completely saves;
He will lift you by His love Out of the angry waves.
He’s the Master of the sea, Billows His will obey;
He your Saviour wants to be, Be saved today
