TOPIC: HOW TO BREAK CURSES (III)
Fire Scripture: Gal. 3:13-14
Today’s Outline: In continuation of yesterday’s topic on breaking curses, it will be of interest for you to know that the most serious curse under which a man can travail is the curse from God. That is, when God curses a man, He alone can reverse it! This is why it is of utmost importance that you should live a life of holiness unto the Lord and remain obedient to His will and commandments. Some aspects of life that we take with levity grieve the Holy Spirit, especially if you are a child of God.
God frowns at every disobedience to His word. To dishonour parents comes with a hidden curse of suffering and short life or premature death, as stated in one of His commandments (Exodus 20) Have you read the book of Deuteronomy 28? It starts with 14 verses of blessings while the rest verse 15-68 contains curses from God Himself. This is why as a child of God, whenever God puts a conditional word “If” after a statement, it strongly indicates that there is a price to pay if the preceding statement is not kept (Deu. 28:15). This is a fearful thing.

Achan stole and kept the Babylonian garment which is an accursed object in disobedience to divine instruction not to take anything from the spoils of war between the children of Israel and the people of Ai (Joshua 7). The verdict of death and annihilation of his family was the end result of Gehazi as a result his of greed and covetousness. He earned a curse for himself and his generation from his master, Prophet Elisha. What a calamity? Defilement of one’s body, sexual pollution and immorality of all sorts attract divine rebuke and curse.
The bottom-line, beloved, is that you should avoid anything that attracts God’s curse. Whenever you break the law of God with impunity you are incurring His wrath and anger. When God takes His face away from man, favour is gone. He cursed the ground for the sake of the sin of disobedience by Adam and Eve (Gen 3). It took the blood of Jesus to deliver us from the consequences of this curse (Rom 3:23).
MEMORY VERSE: Proverbs 26:2 – As the bird by wandering, as the swallow by flying, so the curse causeless shall not come.

PROPHETIC WORD: I shut the doorway of any curse in your life and open the doorway of unstoppable divine blessings, in the name of Jesus.

MORNING
1. Merciful Father, forgive every sin committed by my ancestors and wash them away with the blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus.
2. By the power in the blood of Jesus, I shut any doorway opened to curses in my life, in the name of Jesus.
3. Any curse running in my bloodline, I break you with the blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus.
EVENING
4. I break any curse working against my progress and ability to excel, in the name of Jesus.
5. By the power in the blood of Jesus, I break any curse working against my rising and the lifting of my head, in the name of Jesus.
6. Any curse assigned against my enduring peace, joy and progress, break by fire, in the name of Jesus.
7. Any curse assigned against my good health and all-round prosperity, break by fire, in the name of Jesus.
