Our Fire Scripture for today shows that Elijah knew that the still small voice was the voice of God. He realised that God doesn’t reveal Himself only in powerful and miraculous ways. Hence, looking for God only in churches, crusades, rallies could make you miss Him. This is because God is often found gently whispering in the quietness of a humbled heart. Do you really want to hear the voice of God? You need to step back from the noise and activity of your busy life and listen humbly and quietly to His guidance. It may come when you least expect it.
One of the greatest things that can happen to a believer after salvation is to hear God speak to him or her personally. You cannot have an intimate relationship with God if He does not speak to you. God’s voice will guide and protect you through the storms of life. God always communicates but your ability to hear Him is another thing (Matthew 13:13-17). We are often too busy or impatient to hear Him.

In John 10:3-5, Jesus said that it is only His sheep that will hear and recognise His voice. Once they (sheep) hear their Master’s voice, they follow Him. For you to hear God’s voice you must be His sheep. Imagine in our day-to-day life. the fact that a person does not hear the news does not mean that the radio and television stations are not transmitting.
It is simply because he did not tune in to the stations. Once he tunes in, he will hear them transmitting news. So also, God is constantly transmitting His message to His sheep. Once you remain calm, humble and attentive, He will talk to you. Don’t be too busy or in a hurry to leave the presence of God. Psalm 46:10 says, “Be still and know that l am God.”
Do you want to hear that still small voice from God henceforth? Learn to be still before Him. God will speak to your inner man today, in Jesus’ name

1. Father Lord, let Your voice speak deliverance into my life now, in the name of Jesus.
2, Lord, let Your voice of fire break every chain and barrier in my life, in the name of Jesus.
3. Family foundational voice speaking against my life, be silent forever, in the name of Jesus.
EVENING
4. Everyevil voice calling my name from the grave, shut up and die, in the name of Jesus.
5. Evil voice working against any area of my life, be exposed and be disgraced, in the name of Jesus.
6. Voice of stranger in any area of my life, hear the voice of the Lord, depart and speak no more, in the name of Jesus.
7. Evil power, personality or spirit working against my breakthrough through evil voices, be frustrated and fail woefully, in the name of Jesus.
