Open Heaven Teens 9th April 2022 | Message

Esther was a Jewish slave girl captured and brought with others to King Ahasuerus’ kingdom. Through God’s favour, she was selected as one of the candidates for queen, when the position became vacant. Esther won the contest but years later, persecution arose against Gods people who were still slaves in the land.

Initially, she was silent and on the verge of losing her people, but her uncle Mordecai reminded her that God had most probably made her queen to save the lives of the Jews. God blesses, promotes and gives His children certain privileges for different reasons. He has blessed you in one or more areas of life such as: spiritually, materially, intellectually, financially et cetera, so that you can be a blessing to your generation.

Never for once think that what you have is solely for your benefit or that of your immediate family. You were blessed by God for a purpose, so I urge you to ask Him: “Lord, what is Your purpose or expectation for blessing me with (mention the particular blessing or gift)? The answer will help you live a purpose-driven life.

Point: Ask God to reveal His purpose for blessing you and help you to fulfil it to His glory.
