Bible Verse: “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” — Romans 6:23 (NKJV)
Message:
This verse presents a powerful contrast: sin leads to death, but God offers us the free gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ. While sin earns us separation from God, His love provides a way back through grace. Eternal life is not something we can earn; it’s a gift received by faith in Jesus.
Lessons: The Cost of Sin: (Romans 6:23a) — Sin has consequences. It separates us from God and leads to spiritual death.
The Gift of Grace: (Ephesians 2:8-9) — “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.” Salvation is a free gift, not earned by good deeds.
Life in Christ: (John 3:16) — “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” Eternal life comes through faith in Jesus alone.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the precious gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ. I acknowledge the weight of my sins, but I’m grateful for Your grace that saves me. Help me to live in the freedom and joy of Your salvation, always remembering that it is a gift, not something I could ever earn. Strengthen my faith and guide me daily in Your truth.
