Our Daily Devotion For 16th May 2025 Message
Title: “Standing in the Strength of God”
Key Scripture: Ephesians 6:10 (KJV)
“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.”
Devotional Message:
Life can be demanding, and spiritual battles are often subtle but relentless. The Apostle Paul, in concluding his letter to the Ephesians, gives this vital instruction: “Be strong in the Lord.” He doesn’t say, “Be strong in yourself,” or “Push through on your own strength,” because he knows our human strength is limited.
True strength comes from the Lord.
It is strength that doesn’t waver under pressure, doesn’t fail in crisis, and isn’t depleted by the battles of life. The power of His might means relying on His Spirit, His Word, and His victory. Today, you are not expected to stand alone — you have access to heavenly strength.
Before you face your day, face God. Clothe yourself in His strength, speak His Word, and go forward not as a victim of life’s challenges, but as a victor in Christ.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, Thank You for being my strength and shield. I admit that in my own ability, I fall short. But today, I choose to stand in Your power. Help me to walk in the authority You’ve given me. Strengthen me in every area where I feel weak or overwhelmed. Let me face every challenge with courage, knowing that Your might is working through me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
