Our Daily Devotion For 26th May 2025 Monday
Title: “From Glory to Glory”
Main Scripture: 2 Corinthians 3:18 (KJV) “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.”
Devotional Message:
Spiritual transformation is not instant—it’s a process. Paul reminds us that as we behold the glory of the Lord, we are being changed, step by step, from one level of glory to another. This change is not achieved by willpower, but by the Spirit of the Lord working within us.
To “behold as in a glass” is to fix our gaze on Christ—through the Word, in worship, in prayer, and in obedience. As we do, we begin to reflect what we behold. You don’t need to strive to change yourself—just stay in His presence and allow His Spirit to transform you.
You may not be where you want to be yet, but you’re not where you used to be. You’re on a divine journey of transformation. Every season brings new growth, deeper faith, and a clearer reflection of Jesus.
Let today be a reminder: You are being changed. You are becoming. You are moving from glory to glory.
Other Bible References:
Romans 12:2 (KJV) “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind…”
Philippians 1:6 (KJV) “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it…”
Colossians 3:10 (KJV) “…renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him.”
Psalm 84:7 (KJV) “They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.”
Prayer:
Lord of Glory, Thank You that I am being changed daily by Your Spirit. Help me to keep my eyes on You and not on my weaknesses. Transform me in the quiet places of worship and obedience. Take me deeper into Your presence and lift me from glory to glory. I surrender to Your process and trust that the image of Christ is being formed in me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
