Topic: Maturity
Bible Verse: Hebrews 5:14 (KJV)
“But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.”
Today’s Message:
Spiritual maturity isn’t marked by how long you’ve been in the faith but by how deeply you’ve allowed the Word of God to shape your discernment, decisions, and daily walk. Hebrews reminds us that “strong meat” — the deeper truths and responsibilities of faith — are for those who have trained themselves in godliness.
Maturity means you no longer chase feelings but stand firm on truth. It means you move from being fed to feeding others, from needing affirmation to offering wisdom. A mature believer is not tossed by every wind of doctrine or offended by correction but discerns rightly and walks humbly.
Growth requires intentionality — time in the Word, a submitted heart, and a willingness to be stretched. Just like muscles are built through resistance, so maturity is built through consistency and obedience.

Prayer:
Father, Help me to grow beyond milk and into the deeper things of Your Spirit. Train my heart to discern, my mind to understand, and my spirit to stand firm. I no longer want to remain stagnant or immature in my faith. Teach me to walk in wisdom, respond in love, and remain grounded in truth. Let my life reflect the maturity of Christ, so that I may lead others in strength and stability. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
