Prophetic Word For Today 13th October 2023 | Friday
Father Says Today I will turn your captivity when you make happen for others what you want Me to do for you. There is no greater love than to lay down your life for another. This is the love that I have shown you and the love that I call you to. I know this is not always easy, and it isn’t about loving others on THEIR terms or YOUR terms but on MY TERMS. I so loved that I gave. Let generosity of spirit and an open hand become your love language.
Millions of believers languish in captivity of spirit, relationship, and poverty because they will NOT pursue this initiative. They say “When my ship comes in, my generosity will be legendary….” Remember when I sent My son into the world, He EMPTIED HIMSELF, and THEN HE GAVE ultimately His very life. Generosity that mirrors My character begins in emptiness like the widow with the two mites – and then the detonation of supply and glory comes.
These things offend many. They are excluded. These truths provoke many protestations (you don’t know what I’m facing, etc., etc.). Tragically they also are excluded. Open your heart. Be correctable. Be bendable, sendable, and spendable. Allow Me by the draw of the Holy Spirit to reach into your heart and BEND you in the very area you are least flexible, or seemingly, in your mind, capable. I know you want something different than what you are experiencing. If you want something different, you must do something different because what you are doing is producing what you are experiencing. Rise up.
Change your heart. Get rid of all those poverty mentality, woe is me attitudes. The world is a broken place, and many people are suffering. It can be difficult to see the good in the world and even more difficult to love those who have hurt you or are different from you. Put aside the thought, “I can’t do that because they haven’t earned it!” Have you earned what I have so freely given you? If you won’t give because you think others are undeserving is a betrayal of a hidden idol in your heart that thinks you deserve the work of Calvary. Under all the religious veneer, let Me bring you out of fear and out of the trap of self-pity and pride.
I love you unconditionally. I love you even when you are unlovable. I love you even when you make mistakes. And I love you even when you don’t love yourself. I call you to lay down your life for others, not because they deserve it, but because I love them. I call you to love your enemies, to do good to those who hate you, and to bless those who curse you. This is a radical call, but it is the call of love. It is the call of the cross. It is the call of the kingdom of God.
