2025: THE LANDMARK YEAR
PREAMBLE
Text: Psalm 126:1-6
When the LORD brought back the captivity of Zion, We were like those who dream. Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongues with singing. Then they said among the nations, “The LORD has done great things for them.” The LORD has done great things for us, and we are glad. Bring back our captivity, O LORD, as the streams in the South. Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy. He who continually goes forth weeping, bearing seed for sowing, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.
2025 will be a Landmark Year, as prophesied by our Father in the Lord, Daddy GO. It will be noted for spectacular miracles; mathematically, it is also observed to be an uncommon year. Mockers will grow stronger like rams fattened for the slaughter, and the Wind of change that has started blowing will blow stronger this year, with both positive and negative implications. Let us pray that the wind will blow in our favour for RCCG and our nation.
From the above passage, those who serve God, sowing their precious seeds in tears, will doubtless reap a landmark harvest of miracles. Therefore, our key action is to serve God fervently in 2025. God has led our Father in the Lord, Daddy GO, to declare one hundred days of fasting, starting on 11th January 2025. Our focused prayers will be to give God quality praise each day, then pray for our nation, RCCG, and make our requests as scheduled below:

PRAYERS FOR THE NATION SERIES: THANKSGIVING, FOR THE NEW YEAR 2025
BIBLE TEXT: PSALM 103:1-5.
INTRODUCTION: Thanksgiving is the art of showing gratitude to God for all the good things of life he has done for us.
PRAYER POINTS:
1. Father, thank you for your goodness and mercy that we enjoy every day in our nation In Jesus’ name. Lamentations 3:22-23.
2. Father, thank you for the grace to witness another new year in Jesus’ name. Exodus 12:2.
3. Father, thank you for the grace to escape all the snares of the fowlers in the year 2024 in Jesus’ name. Psalm 124:7.
4. Father, thank you for fighting all the battles of our nation and for giving us victory over them all in the year 2024 in Jesus’ name. Isaiah 37:33-36.
5. Father, thank you for all your good plans for our nation in this year 2025 in Jesus’ name. Jeremiah 29:11.
6. Father, thank you for your presence that will go with us where ever we go this year 2025 in Jesus’ name. Exodus 33:14.
7. Father, thank you for your presence that will make all the crooked way straight before us in Jesus’ name. Isaiah 45:2
8. Father, thank you for all the treasures of darkness and the hidden riches of secret places that you promised to give to us this year 2025 in Jesus’ name. Isaiah 45:3.
9. Father, thank you for promising to move us forward in 2025 in Jesus’ name. Exodus 14:14-15
10. Father, thank you for your presence that will go ahead of us as a consuming fire that will consume every principality and power that may want to hinder us from preaching the gospel of the kingdom this year 2025 in Jesus’ name. Deuteronomy 9:3.
11. Father, thank you for all the walls of partitions that the enemies have erected against the preaching of the gospel of the kingdom that you have gone ahead of us to pull down in Jesus’ name. Ephesians 2:14.
12. Father, thank you for pouring out your spirit for aggressive soul-winning and evangelism upon your Church this year in Jesus’ name. Joel 2:28.
13. Father, thank you for your peace that will be the new garment of our nation this year in Jesus’ name. John 14:27.
14. Father, thank you for your promises that sorrow and weeping shall be far away from our nation this year in Jesus’ name. Revelation 21:4.
15. Father, thank you for your covenant of the sure mercies of David that will preserve our nation throughout this year in Jesus’ name. Isaiah 55:3
