OPENING PRAYER: Dear LOrd, make me more like you through the power of your word as I meditate On it.

Scripture Union Daily Guide 10 November 2024 Outline:
In today’s passage, king Darius, realizing that he had acted unwittingly, sought desperately to rescue Daniel but found this impossible because of the law of Medes and Persians which could not be altered. Notice his effort in v.I4 and what he said in v.ibb. Daniel’s God was equal to the task! Indeed, nobody can battle with the Lord. See how Psalm n8:8,9 is true here. What the king did in vs.I&-20 shows the impact of Daniel’s life on him.
Quietly, God was using Daniel to slowly penetrate the king’s life -mourning, fasting, and praying all night for Daniel’s deliverance and hurrying early to the den confirmed his faith in Daniel’s God. See his response (v.23), further action (v.e4),this writing and decree (vs.25,26a) and final solemn declaration (vs.26b,27). Why are there many Christians in public offices today, yet evil and wickedness continue to prevail?
Someone has said, “Loyalty pays the way to royalty”. See the outworking of this for Daniel in v.28. Every Christian in the church, community or public office is meant to promote God’s glory where he/she is. What about you?

Closing Prayer
O Lord, my God, pour your Spirit on me. Make my life count for you in my family, church, and office.

â–º The provision of ICT whereby we can reach out to the world (more so of young people) from the comfort of our homes and offices.
â–º Some of our programmes/campaigns that we are currently spreading using the ICT handles (True love waits, stand against LGBTQ++, ldealogy etc)
PRAY FOR:
â–º More creative ways in coming out with Contents to bless the lives of numerous people we see in the internet world.
â–ºThe Lord to give divine inspiration to turn our ICT gadgets into mighty tools of evangelizing and discipling our world for Christ.
