The Law of the Jungle reigned supreme at the time of the Judges, as “Everyone did what was right in his own eyes,” (Judges 21:25). If they were following the Law of the Lord, this Civil War would not have been fought in the first place, with a genocide attack on the tribe of Benjamin (Judges 21:6). Not only the soldiers but women and children too were killed (Judges 20:48). Then, Israel realised the terrible thing they did (Judges 21:1-3). But notice the clever solution they devised based on yet more sinful actions (Judges 21:10-12,20-22)! Have you experienced this sort of problem in your personal life or in your country?
“Two wrongs never make a right;” and God does not teach us to “quench fire with fire.” Thankfully, unlike those who lived in Old Testament times, we have the example and the teachings of Jesus Christ. What are we told to do in 1 Peter 3:9 and Ephesians 4:26? In His love and mercy, God overruled the blunders of His people. Israel regretted their actions and turned to the Lord in earnest (Judges 21:2-4); and God restored Benjamin as a viable tribe like before (Judges 21:23).

* All those who will minister, expositions, bible study, seminars, etc., to function under the anointing of the Holy Spirit. • The manifestations of the power of God to save, heal, deliver and transform the campers. • Grace, strength and power of the Holy Spirit for direction for the camp officers. • Abundant provisions, safety and peace in all the camps.
