TOPIC: ACCESSING GOD’S THRONE
OPENING PRAYER: Dear Lord, I pray that you sanctify my spirit, soul and body as I read your word in Jesus name.
SCRIPTURE: Ezekiel 1:15-28
Question(s) for Reflection
• Is there any example for me to follow or not to follow?
• What is God revealing to me in this passage?
Ezekiel continued with the narration of what he saw when he was given vision of the throne of God. Access to God’s throne is no longer limited to few people like Ezekiel. It is open to all (Matthew 27:51a; Hebrews 4:14-16). Let us all go into the very presence of God and receive grace for our daily living. The wheels in this passage show that God is present everywhere and sees all things (v.18). God is not restricted to Jerusalem but rules over all the world.
Though the exiles had experienced a great change, God was still in control. The “figure like that of a man” (v.26) revealed God’s holiness and prepared Ezekiel for what God was about to tell him. “The figure” represented God Himself on His throne. Ezekiel was overwhelmed in God’s presence. He fell face down, dazed by the contrast between God’s holiness and his own sinfulness. God started releasing messages to him for the people of Israel. God sends His message for our life and ministry as we remain continually in His presence.

• Lord, please continue to draw me into your very presence and help me to remain in Christ Jesus all the days of my life.
• Pray for interdenominational Christian fellowships operating in our campuses – IVF, SUCF, NIFES, FCS and such others – to blossom and be instruments of unity in the body of Christ.
Offer a prayer of faith in line with
• Jer. 40-42; Matt. 27:27-50
