Dunamis Seeds of Destiny Daily Devotional for 21st March 2024 by Pastor Paul Enenche

TOPIC: HOW TO BUILD FAITH

SCRIPTURE: So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: In the building of faith, the Word of God gives confidence that births audacious actions, and by those actions, you see results that strengthen your faith.

Sometime ago, I was invited to preach somewhere on the power of evangelism. I finished preaching and was about to make the altar call, but the revelations I was receiving would not allow me. So, by the Word of Knowledge, I mentioned the case of someone who was having an affliction from the waist down to the leg.

Immediately, the person walked out in that condition. Prayer was offered for her and within a minute, she began to jump in excitement, rolling on the floor.

Then, the Word came again about someone else who was deaf, and a 63 year-old woman came out. She had been deaf in one ear since childhood. Prayer was offered for her and the ear opened on the spot. When people saw the deaf ear open, they brought a blind man who was blind for about five years. He had been a longstanding member of that Church.

Now, praying for a blind eye that night was not in my schedule at all. I did not plan for it or think about it but like a flash of lightening, I remembered how a blind eye was opened on the spot by the power of God three days before then. With that audacity and confidence, I prayed for the man, and God healed him on the spot.

So, when you build your faith, you can begin to take more daring steps in faith. And as you begin to see results, the results would encourage more audacious faith for greater results.

For example, if you are a giver and God begins to honour your giving with supplies, you would no longer be careful with what you give because you have experienced a positive result before.

So, in the building of faith, the Word of God gives confidence that births audacious actions, and by those actions, you see results that strengthen your faith. This is how faith is built.

REMEMBER THIS: In the building of faith, the Word of God gives confidence that births audacious actions and by those actions, you see results that strengthen your faith.

ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Take audacious actions from God’s Word as you study.
2. Be deliberate, intentional and consistent in building your faith.

PRAYER: Lord, I receive grace to embark on audacious actions for the building of my faith. Show me faith-based actions from Your Word, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

QUOTE: It is a proof of faith that there will always be left overs. When you leave something in the reserve, it does not mean that you have excess. You are rather demonstrating faith that from now, till forever, the money that will enter your hand must be enough to keep something aside. That is faith in action. Culled from the book, “21 UNCOMMON KEYS TO FINANCIAL OVERFLOW” by Dr Paul Enenche.

DAILY READING: 2 Kings 19-21.

AMAZING FACT: Research has shown that Elephants communicate over long distances using a sub-sonic rumble that can travel over the ground faster than sound through air. Other Elephants receive these messages through their feet and trunks. Scientists believe that this is how potential mates and social groups communicate with each other.

DECLARATION/WORD: Father, I receive a fresh baptism of the Spirit of faith, LORD, in Jesus’ Name.
